Instant Ramen (3 min)
Boil 500ml (2 cups) of water. Add noodle block and seasoning. Cook exactly 3 minutes without stirring for the first minute. For firmer noodles, remove 30 seconds early. Add egg, vegetables, or cheese in the last minute for upgrades.
Cup Noodles (3-4 min)
Pour boiling water to the fill line. Close the lid tightly and wait 3 minutes (4 for thicker varieties). Do not stir until done. The sealed steam is essential for even cooking. Stir well before eating to distribute flavor.
Fresh Ramen (1-2 min)
Fresh noodles cook fast - only 1-2 minutes. Drop into rapidly boiling water and separate gently with chopsticks. They are done when they float and turn tender. Immediately transfer to broth to stop cooking. Overcooking makes them mushy.
